What you’ll be doing...
As an Associate Director - Inside Sales for Verizon Connect, you'll build, develop, and lead an outstanding team of high-performing sales professionals. With your expertise, you'll motivate and empower your sales team to deliver outstanding customer service and solutions to small and medium-sized customers to make their businesses run better, faster, and smarter. With your ongoing mentorship and development, you’ll drive the sales performance of your team.
Enabling your team to deliver best-in-class customer service.
Leading, developing, and tracking your team’s performance.
Developing and implementing strategies to expand our existing client base.
Modeling effective sales strategies for your team to follow.
Tracking and reporting key financial, budget, and sales metrics.
What we’re looking for...
A self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and good team development skills required. Ability to serve as an executive interface for internal and client-facing interactions, including executive level communication.Demonstrated leadership with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience
Experience Managing sales teams
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Telematics sales experience
3+ years of B2B sales experience
Experience meeting or exceeding challenging sales targets
Experience leading a high-performing sales team (ideally, in a commissions-based environment)
Experience crafting compelling sales proposals, business cases, and value propositions

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is a commission based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.The annual salary range for the Illinois location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $90,500.00 - $157,300.00.
