What you'll be doing...

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development using .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server, along with experience in cloud orchestration and security. You will collaborate closely with Product Management and Operations to deploy services, troubleshoot complex issues, and research new technologies in a fast-paced agile environment.

  • Planning, designing, developing, coding, and testing software systems or applications using .NET Core and C#.
  • Participating in the development of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation, testing, and ongoing support of systems.
  • Conceptualizing and developing prototypes quickly in working with the product and architect.
  • Participating in the UX design discussions
  • Leading small to medium scale projects with minimal direction.
  • Troubleshooting application issues, resolving applications issues and escalating issues as required.
  • Testing solutions at scale for resiliency and maintainability.
  • Engaging in engineering discussions, contributing to the conversation, providing your own opinions, asking thoughtful questions for clarification, and enriching the environment.
  • Building secure and scalable applications with a focus on cloud orchestration and security best practices.
  • Maintaining and improving existing code with a pride of ownership.

What we're looking for...

You are self-driven with experience in design and implementation of complex and distributed systems, particularly in building high-performance backend frameworks using .NET technologies. You have a passion for seeking engineering excellence and adopting new technologies. You are not afraid to drive for success by working with multi-functional teams.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant experience in .NET Core, C#, and ASP.NET development.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database design principles.
  • Experience with cloud orchestration tools and platforms.
  • Understanding of security best practices in software development and cloud environments.
  • Experience with test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous deployment processes.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Technical experience with .NET technologies.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
  • Knowledge of cloud security standards and protocols: SAML, OAuth, WS-Federation, etc.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
  • Experience with container technologies like Docker.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
