What you’ll be doing...
The work you'll be doing will support the mission and business-critical applications within Verizon. You will be enhancing the customer experience and building world-class solutions. Under the mentorship of senior applications staff, you will work as a team member on various projects to develop, implement, and maintain this important application.
Developing highly efficient and reliable applications.
Developing applications with backend technologies.
Collecting client requirements, system features,and functionality, and developing system designs.
Performing analysis and writing program specifications for multiple projects.
Developing programs or modules to improve processes.
Coordinating project requirements, schedules, and activities and providing status reports.
Supporting users by developing documentation and responding to inquiries.
Involving and participating in the overall application lifecycle.

You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience
Design, develop, test, and support software features and enhancements for IoT/M2M services.
Utilize cloud-native tools and infrastructure, including Kubernetes in AWS environment, to build scalable, secure, and reliable applications.
Perform in-depth review and analysis of product requirements and translate requirements into detailed specifications to guide the development process.
Support and maintain 24x7 highly available services in production.
Triage and resolve customer requests and issues related to IoT/M2M applications.
Utilize AWS, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies to monitor and troubleshoot production environments.
Utilize experience with Java, Spring Framework, Cassandra, Apache Camel, JMS, Web services (SOAP/REST), Maven, Junit, Jenkins, Bamboo, and TCP/IP networking.
Implement and manage AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and other relevant cloud technologies.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Good communication and presentation skills.
Ability to learn the technologies and work as a full-stack developer in the future.
Ability to understand business requirements and take it to code implementation.
Strong analytical, and debugging skills.
Ability to understand app server implications during the delivery stage.
