The Indirect Channel Operations team, as part of the Value Indirect organization, orchestrates Total Wireless, Simple Mobile, and Verizon Prepaid distribution strategic programs and initiatives from conception to execution, ensuring channel readiness and operational excellence.
As the Sr. Manager - Program & Project Management, you will be responsible for end-to-end management of major strategic programs and initiatives across the Value Indirect distribution space. You will serve as a subject matter expert within the organization & ensure all stakeholder groups are successfully executing to plan.
In this role you will:
Maintain end-to-end ownership of multiple strategic programs, initiatives, & projects simultaneously and organize/prioritize them to align to the organization’s broader strategic goals
Develop and implement comprehensive policies and procedures across the Value Indirect sales channels
Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders such as Merchandising, Marketing, Systems, Inventory, Go to Channel, Sales, Training, Analytics and Distribution to plan, execute, and hold accountable their specific actions & deliverables
Prepare and maintain executive facing presentation materials and specific project plan decks
Own project plans from conception to closure, creating and managing project trackers/documents, ensuring that identified components are accounted for, including communication, stakeholder management, resourcing, budgeting, upholding timelines, reporting, and identifying risk mitigation strategies
Perform necessary analyses and provide solution recommendations using strategic thinking processes & channel knowledge
Lead key meetings to provide directional insight and work with key stakeholders within and outside the organization to drive initiatives
Serve as a Value Indirect channel subject matter expert, advising cross-functional teams on channel nuances, processes, and ways of working
Consistently deliver high quality work that fully addresses the intended criteria, goals, and objectives
Effectively communicate verbally and in writing to stakeholders, team members, and leadership
This role is a hybrid schedule in office that includes assigned office days (VCG in office days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
What we’re looking for…
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
6+ years of program and / or project management experience
Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder expectations, and building and scaling strategic initiatives
Experience in a role responsible for the design, development, and implementation of a strategic plan for an organization, company or business unit
Collaborate well with others, have the ability to work in a cross-functional environment with changing and evolving roles and responsibilities
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
Demonstrate excellent executive presentation skills
Be a team player, action oriented and be willing to go above and beyond when needed
Have a passion for delivering exceptional experiences to partners and consumers
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
An MBA, or an M.S. in a related field
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, VLSS certification in Green Belt or Black Belt
Experience working with external partners and/or vendors
Experience in the Verizon Value segment

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
