Summary:
Responsible for assisting with implementing processes and layouts for large data sets used for modeling, data mining, and research purposes regarding InfoManager—the internal corpus of information and source of record for Verizon’s products, services, pricing, promos, procedures, and internal policies—and Enterprise Search. Provide assistance for building data sets from various sources while thinking strategically about uses of data. Assist with generating hypotheses and creating analytic models that answer impactful business questions.
Responsibilities:
Perform search testing and data reporting validations
Collaborate with Search & Analytics team lead and Technical Project Manager to ensure search data integrity in both existing Oracle database and GCP
Test accuracy and validity of existing Search admin reporting
Research and identify new reporting capabilities and provide results to team
Gather solutions requests and data requirements from Search & Analytics team members and other business clients.
Support the implementation of processes and layouts as instructed by the Search & Analytics team for complex data sets used for modeling, data mining, and research purposes.
Support the building and implementation of data sets as instructed by the Search & Analytics team, updating and making adjustments where necessary.
Perform data validation tests and updating procedures to ensure models are successfully implemented.
Create reports and visualizations based on the results of the models to share with the business clients.
Monitor the developed data models and systems, identifying any possible issues that need to be resolved.
Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, implement strategic initiatives, and deliver measurable business outcomes that align with organizational goals and drive overall impact.
Focus on Run & Operate activities to ensure that Search continually delivers a consistent UX as the needs of the business change.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and one or more years of relevant experience required

Structured Query Language (SQL)
Advanced Microsoft Skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Advanced Google Skills: Sheets, Doc, Slides
Demonstrated critical thinking ability
