What you’ll be doing...
You’ll provide business intelligence that helps our team to evaluate complex issues and make informed decisions. You’ll partner with your internal clients to understand what they need to know, and then design the research plan to get answers. You’ll also design new systems and programs to capture and unleash the power of big data. You will generate insights that will help propel our business forward.
Collaborating with others to identify analytic requirements and devise the best possible solution.
Analyzing complex operational, economic and accounting data to quantify the competitive business segments and evaluate potential operational changes.
Defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing conclusions.
Developing innovative strategies.
Developing models to predict future outcomes.
Consulting with partners and senior leaders on insights, trends, and data-based solutions.
Creating the Government Program billing records for Lifeline, Youth Foster, and other programs in future.
Determining prior period corrections and any adjustments necessary for Lifeline, Youth Foster, and any other program.
Providing financial reporting for Government programs revenue, and subscribers (accruals, actuals, and true-ups).
Providing Audit support for current and future audits, such as Usage Audits, USAC audits, USAC, State Public Service or Utilities Commissions.
Collaborating with Legal teams and other groups to ensure timely delivery of work that addresses legal matters related to Lifeline and Youth Foster programs.

Creating complex SQL programs to reconcile data across data sources such as:
TracFone’s Data Warehouse Systems
TracFone’s Clarify Data
Emerios Data
USAC NLAD Data
Creating Active Subscriber & Gross Add Reporting & Reconciliations for SafeLink, and Lifeline Program participants across other brands.
Creating Program Change Reconciliations for SafeLink, and Lifeline Program participants across other brands.
Creating exception procedures for Government program subscribers including but not limited to Deceased, Fraud, Cured, Pending De-enroll, & Pending Enrolls.
Identifying opportunities to increase billable counts for subscribers on Government Programs.
Creating reports for SafeLink and Other Brands to report Billable Subscribers.
Providing information to Base Mgmt., FPA, and other teams related to SafeLink, and Lifeline Program participants across other brands.
Partnering with GTS and leading requirements and solution design for GTS integrations related to SafeLink, and Lifeline Program participants across other brands.
Leading various initiatives to ensure highest level Data Integrity for SafeLink, and Lifeline Program participants across other brands.
This role is a hybrid schedule in office that includes assigned office days (VCG in office days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
What we’re looking for...
The potential of big data fascinates you. You’re energized by the challenge of building a system that will turn data into insights, enabling the business to make even smarter decisions. You’re great at understanding and analyzing business needs, and translating them into the technical requirements to drive a research agenda.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
Expert data analyst, data scientists.
Analyzed big data, distilled insights, and made business recommendations.
Expert data mining, sourcing with Python, SQL, and other programming languages
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Reporting & Analytics, Economics, or Business
Experience in leading end-to-end complex initiatives
Working knowledge of GTS resource planning and Agile
Ability to report information and analyze results
Lifeline Program experience, or similar Government Programs
Government Accounting Office requirements for Audit
General knowledge of financial & subscriber reporting (revenue, arpu, gross adds, churn, and other KPIs)
Proven ability to effectively stakeholder and negotiate at multiple levels
Demonstrated ability to be flexible and work in dynamic, and sometimes unstructured environment
