What you’ll be doing...

You will be leading multiple software engineering teams internally and externally to design and develop complex software solutions leveraging the latest technologies like AI, GenAI, etc., for Verizon Business group. Your work is to partner closely with required stakeholders, understand opportunities to improve customer experience, agent efficiency and drive efficiencies through the right technology solutions. Your work will help us to stay at the forefront of technology and positively impact the business KPIs.

• Active communication with business stakeholders to prioritize and deliver impactful technology solutions.

• Close collaboration with other technology partners like AI&D, Enterprise Architecture teams to drive solutions efficiently

• Leading and mentoring engineering web and application programming interface teams through software platform releases, ensuring products are on spec, architecturally sound, and delivered on time.

• Supporting customers with major platform issues and coordinating triage efforts to solve them.

• Documenting and maintaining architectural guidance to ensure performance and scalability of the platform.

• Adhering to industry standards and best practices and understanding emerging technologies and trends to continuously improve the systems, application, infrastructure, and processes.

You’ll need to have:

Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

• Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

• Experience with driving innovative solutions successfully.

• Strong understanding of web application development and architecture

• Experience with full stack technologies - Java, SpringBoot, Angular, ReactJS, Cloud platforms

• Knowledge of latest technologies like GenAI and it's applications to solve real business problems.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• A Master's degree.

• Led a larger team.

• Certifications in AI applications and concepts

• Hands on development experience in any of the above mentioned technologies
