What you'll be doing…
As an Engineer III - Data Engineering in the Artificial Intelligence and Data Organization (AI&D), you will drive various activities including DevOps automation, data engineering, data operations automation, data frameworks and platforms to improve the efficiency, customer experience, and profitability of the company.

Building high-quality DevOps with Data Engineering applications,
Designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on GCP with a focus on scalability, security, and cost optimization.
Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments using Terraform, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
Managing and optimizing Kubernetes clusters (GKE), ensuring high availability and performance.
Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices using Terraform and Helm.
Automating cloud operations and deployments using Python and Shell scripting.
Managing security, compliance, and IAM policies across cloud resources.
Optimizing cloud costs by monitoring resource usage, right-sizing workloads, and implementing auto-scaling strategies.
Collaborating with development and data engineering teams to improve system reliability and DevOps practices.
Staying updated with the latest cloud and DevOps trends, proposing enhancements for automation and efficiency.
What we're looking for...
We are seeking an experienced GCP Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure, automation pipelines, and CI/CD workflows in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud security, and cost optimization, along with expertise in Terraform, Kubernetes (GKE), CI/CD tools, and monitoring solutions.
You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for provisioning cloud resources.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCD.
Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for automating deployments and infrastructure operations.
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as GKE (Kubernetes), Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and Cloud SQL.
Experience managing containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
Ability to effectively communicate through presentation, interpersonal, verbal and written skills.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
A degree. Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems and/or related technical discipline.
Big Data Analytics Certification in Google Cloud.
Hands-on experience with Hadoop-based environments (HDFS, Hive, Spark, Dataproc).
Knowledge of cost optimization techniques for cloud workloads.
Knowledge of telecom architecture.
