What you’ll be doing...
Our Network Engineering team keeps us ahead of the competition. You will proactively provide support for overall network performance as a member of the RF Design Team. You will be responsible for the design and optimization of sites in a geographic area. You’ll have a positive impact on our organization, and change the way that our customers live, work, and play.
Working with Capacity Planning and System Performance engineers to identify and kick off new search areas for cell sites, walk candidate locations, approve site locations and create RF site designs.
Optimizing 5G, LTE and Radio Access Networks using traditional and innovative methods.
Interfacing with project managers, real estate, construction, field operations, engineering, sales, marketing, finance and regulatory to ensure that our network quality and financial objectives are met.
Improving the performance of voice and data wireless networks.
Partnering with System Performance to improve various Network Key Performance Indicators.
Utilizing internal tools to process regulatory compliance.
Performing Macro, Small Cell, and In Building design. Including antenna selection and placement, utilize knowledge of GSM, LTE, CDMA 1x, EVDO, 5G and microwave to contribute in network design.
Supporting the investigation and resolution of customer complaints.
Working on new cell sites, making sure sites are properly integrated into the network and optimized for peak performance.
Proactively looking for areas to improve overall network performance. Finding and resolving system issues on the network by utilizing traditional and non-traditional means.
Providing leadership and direction to your team as well as other network teams.
Interacting with cross functional teams to deploy and optimize the best components for efficiency and reliability.
Providing subject matter expertise by helping to train new team members as well as mentor current engineers.
Taking ownership of issues and driving them to resolution.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience in RF design and optimization.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
A degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science.
Knowledge of RF theory and practice, as well as LTE/VoLTE technology.
Experience in design & optimization of LTE/VoLTE networks.
Expert knowledge of propagation modeling software such as Planet EV, Atoll etc.
Understanding of LTE network KPIs and key parameters.
Experience with Model Tuning.
Proficient in office computer applications: Various RF tools such as Mapinfo, post processing software etc., MS office. Knowledge of SQL scripting, VB Scripting, and other professional software is plus.
Excellent knowledge of Excel including VB macro creation and worksheet manipulation.
Presentation skills and ability to create Power Points.
Excellent analytic, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment and resolve issues.
Superior organizational time management, prioritization, and project planning skills.
Strong leadership skills with the demonstrated ability to build trust and engagement, and act as an influencer/leader at all levels within the group.

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $73,000.00 and $136,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
