What you’ll be doing...

The Inventory Analyst, Supply Chain Helpdesk provides customer support by resolving tickets submitted from both internal and external partners such as third party General Contractors, Verizon Network Engineering and Verizon Network Assurance. You will be responsible for resolving questions and issues within the various Verizon systems that drive field inventory accuracy as well as providing solutions and training to key stakeholders. These systems include the ERP Verizon Scanner App, SAP, and other external systems. A portion of your role will require partnership with other Verizon organizations to resolve tickets and issues and support the development of requirements for long-term solutions within our critical tools.

  • Resolving tickets within the established SLAs (timely and correctly).

  • Recording and maintaining critical ticket information in customer service tools.

  • Providing satisfactory customer service and support to key business partners.

  • Providing and receiving feedback for process improvement.

  • Building and maintaining key partnerships with both internal and external customers.

  • KPI adherence.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • One or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

  • Experience in Supply Chain.

  • Experience in Customer Service.

  • ERP, system tool (scanner) and inventory management knowledge and experience.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Proficiency in systems (SAP, Scanner, etc).

  • Attention to detail, data accuracy and quality of output.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Experience utilizing data and analytics to manage and improve operations..

  • Inventory scanning experience.

  • Ability to communicate using email, instant messenger, and phone .

  • Ability to operate within the confines of a team and individually.

  • A degree in Supply Chain.

  • Knowledge of Network Engineering Equipment and Operations.

  • Experience using customer service tools (e.g., Quickbase).

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $51,000.00 and $94,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
