  • What you’ll be doing...

    In this lead role as a Senior Engineer Consultant-Software Development, you will be responsible for the designing, developing and providing support & execution of Payroll Operations, managing (end to end) Payroll process and statutory compliances

    What we’re looking for...

    Senior IT professional with 7+ years’ experience with software delivery and maintenance of PeopleSoft HCM application. The candidate will have experienced success in leading teams into SCRUM / Agile methodology.

    Provide leadership to the Operations Support processes with a focus on automating solutions to streamline the operation. Responsible for tactical leadership and expertise throughout the software development lifecycle including managing the delivery of certain HR and Payroll application initiatives. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

    Demonstrates accountability, thought-leadership, initiative, independence and willingness to learn. Demonstrated ability to lead and work with teams across multiple locations and time zones. Experience communicating to and interacting with senior leaders in both IT and on the business side. Extensive experience in large-scale projects.

    5+ years of PeopleSoft development in the HCM arena. Senior Software Engineer with the following skills: People Tools, SQR, SQL, JAVA, Selenium, Splunk, Java Script, CSS, HTML, ESPx & COBOL. 1+ year of SCRUM / Agile software delivery experience.

    You'll need to have:

    • Bachelor’s degree or six or more years of work experience.
    • Five or more years of relevant work experience.
    • Knowledge of SDLC and Agile Development, executing a full software development life cycle (SDLC) – concept, design, build, deploy, test, release and support.
    • Expert level knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM suite Release 9.2
    • Deep functional/ technical knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM Application, with US Payroll experience, Weekly, Bi-weekly and Year end processes
    • Senior PeopleSoft Payroll resource with experience in HCM Payroll configurations and integrations, expertise in HCM US Payroll PeopleSoft specific functional and payroll operational knowledge
    • Working experience on PeopleSoft Technical (PeopleCode, Application Designer, SQL, SQR, Application Engine, PeopleSoft Query, Data Mover, Application Packages, Component Interface and Integration Broker
    • Debug Delivered & Custom PeopleSoft functionality and processes SQL, SQR, PeopleTools
    • Experience applying PeopleSoft tax updates, maintenance packs (PUM), bundles, and fixes to multiple environments Manages, and coordinates all aspects of assigned SR requirements
    • Ability to influence stakeholders and partners across all levels; deliver as per project milestones.
    • Excellent functional knowledge of US payroll processes to assist the business operations team with troubleshooting issues around tax, garnishment and benefits processing.
    • Experience with key payroll integrations like Time Reporting, Benefit Vendors, GL Systems, Tax Vendors, Absence Management, and HR Systems (like Workday).
    • Ability to work well under time constraints and Flexible to work in shifts and weekends
    • Perform hands-on Analyst role by documenting and analyzing requirements
    • Provide technical input during business requirement gathering and fit-gap sessions

    Even better if you have one or more of the following:

    • Relevant certifications.
    • Ability to understand Agile and DevOps tools and technologies.
    • Developing effective testing plans and scripts, defining expected results for all tests
