What you’ll be doing...

We are looking for a Data Engineer who has experience in Designing and Developing Data Warehouse Solutions on SAP Analytics Platform.

You will be primarily responsible for the following activities but not just limited to these

• Implement End-to-End data pipelines, data models and ETL processes on the SAP Analytics platform to ingest, process and transform large volumes of data from various sources.

• Perform Data Engineer tasks to Orchestrate, Design, Develop the reusable workflows & Data models in SAP HANA, SAP BW and SAP BODS

• Analyze the business requirements in Supply chain and Finance areas and build HANA models to derive the Key Performance Indicators

• Understand the capabilities of latest versions in HANA and BW environments and work on upgrade activities and impact analysis

• Understand the Projects lifecycle, take active role in Production deployments and resolve deployment issues

• Understand Business & Functional requirements and prepare Detailed Technical specifications

• Establish and maintain cross-functional working relationships with other IT groups (including Production Support, Admin/BASIS Team etc.) and key business stakeholders

What we’re looking for...

We are looking for a Data Engineer with Hands-On Experience in implementing solutions in SAP HANA/BW/BOBJ/BODS Platform

• Bachelor’s degree or Four or more years of experience.

• Three or more years in SAP Data Warehouse/Data Modelling

• Experience on designing and building Data Models in SAP HANA platform/Business Warehouse

• Hands-on experience in Performance optimization, building reusable data models, HANA DB stored procedures, Currency Conversions, Data Replication techniques etc.

• Experience in HANA models integration to Reporting platforms like BOBJ/AFO/Qlik/Tableau etc.

• Experience on driving Data Engineering solutions E2E by guiding team

• Well versed with Agile Development Methodologies

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Experience in building ETL flows in SAP BODS environment & calling HANA procedures in BODS

• Knowledge of developing CDS models and building AFO reports on top of CDS views

• Knowledge of HANA and BW Info providers Mixed modeling

• Knowledge of BOBJ report development on HANA data models & BW Info providers

• Knowledge on Reporting tools like Looker, Qlik, Tableau etc.

• Certification on HANA modeling/ BW solutions / BOBJ Development / Cloud environments

• Experience in analyzing large amounts of information to discover trends

• Experience with Data Quality and Performance Tuning

• Strong problem solving, analytical, and research capabilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
