What you’ll be doing...
As part of the FPAS (Financial Planning and Analytic Services) team, you will be supporting various Data Governance initiatives related to Finance and Operational Data.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting the Data Governance of the External Metrics catalog and ensure data accuracy for quarterly/annual metrics and/or information to be presented to investors via 10Q/10K’s, press releases, investor conferences, etc.
Collaborating with business units, internal audit, accounting, investor relations and other FPAS members.
Assisting in defining and documenting the meaning, source, and usage of key metrics to enhance transparency and consistency.
Supporting documenting the process flow of data/metrics end-to-end, while identifying opportunities to implement data quality improvements and/or automation.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Proven understanding of Telecommunication Metrics and/or Business.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and basic data analysis.
Proven strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Experience balancing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and adapting in a dynamic environment.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Audit experience.
Proven basic understanding of data governance principles or data management processes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multiple teams.
Interest in business processes and a willingness to learn how data informs strategic decisions.
Ability to learn new technology (for uploading data; attestation applications).
A detail-oriented individual with a passion for data integrity, quality assurance and governance.
Familiarity with financial reporting or investor relations processes.
