What you’ll be doing...

Use of various GIS tools to build applications. Design, develop and maintain as well as plan data driven solutions for Wireless Technologies and different components for the planning and analytics applications along with creating pipelines and architecture to support other applications in the network systems domain. Create and maintain a Geo-database of network components in the form of GIS vector and raster datasets. Use Geospatial techniques to build systems which can help in analyzing wireless network coverage to improve overall network stability and performance. Drive results using network and Geospatial data and come up with key decisive insights which will bring in efficiency in solving complex problems. Make use of distributed load balancing techniques in the form of horizontal and vertical scaling of AWS cloud resources to ensure high performance and cost savings without impact to existing services. Create and maintain detailed up-to-date technical documentation for applications design and development. Keep management updated on projects and assigned work using collaboration tools. Work with cross domain teams and guide them to implement best practices and uniformity across solutions.

What we’re looking for...

Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Data Engineer, Software Developer or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include the following: 5 years performing GIS (Geographical Information Systems) Development; Python; PostgreSQL; 3 years with AWS cloud services; and completion of university-level course, internship, research project, thesis, or one year of experience involving the following: Applied Statistics, Data Mining, Pattern Recognition. Hybrid role, ability to work from home.

Where you’ll be working

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
