Position Summary
The School of Public Health (SPH) seeks an Extra Help Main Desk Attendant who will provide facilities-oriented support for the SPH and the Department of Psychiatry. Under general direction of the SPH Facilities Manager, the position is responsible for front desk coverage, package and mail distribution and the effective management of the operation and oversight of the School of Public Health and the Psychiatric Institute (SPHPI) facilities.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- College coursework.
- One year of facilities-related experience.
- Excellent technical skills and knowledge/proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), cloud systems (i.e. Box) and online video conferencing platforms (Zoom, WebEx, Microsoft Teams).
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, written, and customer-service skills; conscientious of the integrity of work provided.
- Ability to work autonmously, and collaboratively in a dviserse and team-based environment.
- Ability to deal effectively with various personalities and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks or projects.
- Ability to lift light, medium and heavy items.
