Description:

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator works within UI Health Human Resources Department to assist in planning, implementing and evaluating strategies for the pre-onboarding and onboarding process in nursing recruitment. This position works with the Assistant Director of Recruitment & Retention - Nursing and with the Human Resources Business Partners in hiring and processing of new and existing employees. The TA Coordinator assists with the collection and analysis of human resources data and the development of procedural solutions for statistical and information purposes to ensure effective results and outcomes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for coordinating and managing the pre-onboarding process for an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Communicates and collaborates with the Nursing Recruitment HRBPS, Hiring Managers, Employee Engagement, Nursing Educator, and IS-Education, to effectively transition the candidate from job offer acceptance, to pre-onboarding, to the onboarding process.
  • Conducts pre-employment hiring process for new recruits (e.g., scheduling clearances, pre-employment assessments, registers new hire in NEO, completes ID authorization form or other necessary hiring paperwork etc.)
  • Completes and submits transactions such as the New Hire Transaction and the Internal hiring transactions.
  • Organizes and updates candidates’ data in the ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and hiring folders. Such as marking new hires as hired, sending notification to remaining candidates not selected and sending files to departments.
  • Conducts surveys for evaluating candidate experience and analyzes feedback.
  • Identifies and prepares multimedia resources for integration into training initiatives, such as videos, PowerPoint presentations, pictures, and related.
  • Assists and participates in employment events, including open houses and job fairs.
  • Delivers excellent customer service to internal and external customers in line with the organization’s mission, culture, and values.
  • Preparing reports on new hire metrics (e.g., source-of-hire, time-to-hire, time-to-fill etc.)
  • Models' appropriate customer and partner interaction.
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Data Entry of employee certifications and employment, such IDPH and PPAcert.
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Any one or any combination totaling three (3) years (36 months) from the following categories:

A. course work in human resource administration, business administration or a closely related field, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:

• 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)

• Associate’s Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18 months)

• 90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)

• Bachelor’s Degree (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years (36 months)

B. progressively more responsible work experience maintaining, monitoring, and/or processing human resource records and reports.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as an HR Assistant, Talent Acquisition Coordinator, or related field Experience with resume databases, ATS or other requisition and candidate management tools.
  • Must possess excellent computer skills and be proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • A keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work closely as part of team.
  • Exceptional time-management and organizational skills.
  • Possess an outgoing, friendly personality and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to provide a flexible schedule to work special events as needed.
  • Previous end to end recruitment experience will be a major plus.
