Job Description Summary: | Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President – Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, this position works in full collaboration with the EVP-CFO leadership team to meet their priorities and goals. The Director of Administration manages all administrative and operational activities and workflows within the EVP-CFO Organization. This is a full-time, on-site position located at the GW Foggy Bottom Campus in Washington, DC. The primary duties of this position include:
This is a management position at the university that, in addition to leading a work unit, leads and supervises staff both directly and indirectly, makes hiring decisions, provides coaching, training, and mentoring, manages performance, and determines future staffing needs. Performs other related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position. |

Minimum Qualifications: | Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 8 years of relevant professional experience, or, a Master’s degree or higher in a relevant area of study plus 6 years of relevant professional experience. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. |
