Find out more here: http://smhs.gwu.edu/ The School of Medicine and Health Sciences at George Washington University seeks a dedicated and versatile full-time Laboratory Associate for the Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Med program (PBPM) based on the Virginia Science and Technology Campus (VSTC). This position reports directly to the program director (PBPM) and will assist in biology, anatomy, chemistry, biochemistry, and physics labs for pre-medical students, manage laboratory operations, and support departmental initiatives, including participation on the PBPM Admissions Committee. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting high-quality instruction, ensuring the safety of students and faculty in the lab, fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment, and contributing to the academic success of students pursuing careers in healthcare and related fields. The program is a full-time in-person program, and requires in-person support Monday through Thursday, with the possibility of remote work on Friday. Additionally, there is the potential to obtain a voluntary adjunct faculty position in the Department of PA Studies associated with this position. Key Responsibilities: 1. Minimum Qualifications: | Qualified candidates will hold a BA/BS in a related discipline, plus 2 years of relevant professional experience or, a Master’s degree or higher in a relevant area of study. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. |
