Office of the Dean, The George Washington University School of Nursing The Office of the Dean at the School of Nursing is dedicated to providing comprehensive support to the Dean and the entire school. Our team is committed to ensuring the smooth operation of various administrative and logistical functions, which are essential for the success of our academic and professional community. Key responsibilities of the Office include:
The Program Manager plays a significant role in the mission and vision of the Office of the Dean. Duties include, but are not limited to: 1. Serve as primary contact for conference and event management, which includes but is not limited to:
2. Student-related events: The School of Nursing holds various events every semester, and the Program Manager is expected to work closely with the Student Enrollment and Success department for the successful planning and execution of these events. The most repeated signature events are listed below:

Guided by the Director of Operations and Special Projects, the Program Manager supports the Associate Dean for Inclusive Excellence in organizing student events, seminars, film screenings, and other administrative tasks. 4. When tasked by the Director of Operations and Special Projects, the Program Manager provides logistical and administrative support to the Assistant Dean for Assessment, Evaluation, and Accreditation. 5. The Program Manager will take turns attending leadership meetings and taking meeting minutes. 6. The Program Manager is highly encouraged to participate actively in different staff-related committees and councils. 7. Other administrative tasks: The Director of Operations and Special Projects will assign other functions related to the Office of the Dean as deemed necessary. Performs other related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position. |

Minimum Qualifications: | Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 2 years of relevant professional experience, or, a Master’s degree or higher in a relevant area of study. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. |
