I. DEPARTMENT INFORMATION
Job Description Summary: | The Fitzhugh Mullan Institute for Health Workforce Equity, in the Milken Institute School of Public Health, is seeking a Research Scientist to work on a large foundation-funded project studying various aspects of reproductive health workforce. The goal of this research is to develop an evidence base on the composition, distribution, scope of services, and Medicaid acceptance of the healthcare workforce providing abortion and contraception services in the US, as well as potential shifts in this workforce in response to major events such as the Covid-19 pandemic or the Dobbs vs Jackson Supreme Court decision.. The Research Scientist will play an integral role as part of the team and will participate in and supervise the development of project deliverables, including data collection, analysis, and written and oral presentations. Responsibilities Include:

Minimum Qualifications: | Qualified candidates will hold a Master’s degree plus 5 years of experience or a PhD plus 2 years of experience in a related discipline to include at least 2 years of research and/or college level teaching in a field basic to the work to be performed. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. |
