Associate Director, Clinical Value and Evidence (southeast)

As an you will provide clinical, scientific and HEOR evidence to pharmacy & therapeutics committees, pathway administrators, physician administrators, and access decision makers. You will communicate clinical and HEOR evidence for Oncology/Hematology of our approved products and investigational medications to US healthcare segments.
This is a field-based position supporting the Southeast region of the US with up to 50% travel. Residency in the territory is required.
A typical day may include the following:
• Building, prioritizing and cultivating relationships with Managed Market, IDN, GPO and Pathway decision makers that inform annual planning.
• Developing a system of timely communication of US customer medical and HEOR insights.
• Collaborating with Scientific/Medical Communications and internal partners developing materials for external customer focused reactive/proactive evidence.
• Participating in meetings to review HEOR presentations in collaboration with HQ-HEOR and other relevant partners.
• Participating in the identification of company sponsored HEOR/RWE research collaborations and review of proposals.
• Collaborating with customers to identify gaps in HEOR research.
• Responding to organized customer requests for information.

To be considered for this, you are required to have a PhD, PharmD or MD. Knowledge and understanding of health economic principles and oncology or hematology is required. Over 5 years in a pharmaceutical industry or clinical setting such as drug information, disease management programs or clinical pharmacy/medicine. A minimum of 1 year of field medical affairs experience addressing scientific, clinical and HEOR issues of policy in Managed Care/Access is required. Experience in conducting and communicating the results of health outcomes research.
