This position will be located at the East Hanover, NJ site and will not have the ability to be located remotely. This position will require <10% travel as defined by the business (domestic).

Please note that this role would not provide relocation and only local candidates will be considered.

As an Analyst in the Government Reporting group, you will be primarily responsible for the calculation, analysis, and submission of one or more of the following pricing calculations on a timely basis: Average Manufacture Price (AMP), Best Price (BP), Public Health Services (PHS) pricing, Average Sales Price (ASP), Non-Federal Average Manufacturer Price (Non-FAMP), Federal Ceiling Price (FCP) and/or State Price Transparency Reporting.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculations and Submissions - support Manager with submission of state program filings as well as execution of all components of government pricing.
  • Compliance - ensures accuracy and timeliness of price calculations to ensure compliance with government regulations; maintains SOPs, SOX documentation, calculation policies and methodologies.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration - coordinates process of procuring existing and new data for inclusion into price calculations.
  • Strategic Partnering - assists associates and managers in developing and executing recommendations in key strategic and tactical areas which impact pricing calculations to support long and short-term business goals.
  • Project Management - serves as a secondary business lead or a supporting role on government pricing related projects. Function as an integral part of a team on government pricing related projects.

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse business audiences
  • Ability to identify issues and propose actionable, data-driven recommendations
  • Skilled in researching and resolving complex customer or compliance issues
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and decision-making skills

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Familiarity with life sciences platforms such as Model N, Revitas, or SAP

Novartis Compensation and Benefit Summary: The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between: $60,600.00 and $112,600.00/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/25 through 12/31/25, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
