Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Tray Delivery Aide – Part Time.
In this role, the successful candidate Delivers meal trucks to patient units and trays to patients distributes menus to patients and collects dirty trays for warewashing
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Prints census sheets and delivers trays to patients on assigned units Reads patient menus to confirm room number diet and date of birth
- Retrieves dirty or finished trays for warewashing
- Distributes appropriate menus to patients in advance of mealtime for selection
- Uses proper scripting techniques in all interactions with patients
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a High School or GED Strong communication both oral and written and customer service skills Ability read well and write legibly Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions
Preferred Qualifications:
1 2 years In Food Service or Tray Passing Basic computer skills
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $23.16 – $25.20 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
