Duties Description Under the general direction of the Project Director, (AKA Training Manager), NS (Eq G-31), the Training Coordinator, NS (Eq G-27), will be responsible for overseeing and managing all DRIVES training activities. The incumbent will coordinate a team of Assistant Training Coordinators and the activities of the Training Center of Excellence under the Office of Statewide Training & DRIVES Training Center of Excellence.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborates with DRIVES vendor (FAST Enterprises) to develop a training strategy.

• Establishes, maintains, and enforces best practices, standards, and processes as related to system training.

• Develops a comprehensive training strategy and plan based on project requirements, training objectives, and available resources.

• Allocates and manages training resources and ensures the teams have the necessary skills and training required for these specialized training activities.

• Develops standardized Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for Training Center of Excellence training.

• Oversees the creation of detailed training curriculum, scripts and training data, ensuring they align with the requirements and training objectives.

• Develops risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to identify and address risks and potential challenges under the scope of the Training Center of Excellence.

• Monitors the progress of the execution of the training program throughout the project and the progressive rollouts.

• Develops practices and procedures for monitoring training completion and proficiency.

• Maintains effective communication with all stakeholders and reports out to the Training Manager and/or executive management as needed.

• Collaborates with DRIVES vendor to set up and configure training environments.

• Performs the full range of supervisory activities.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Nine years of training experience. Two years of the experience must have been at a supervisory level.

OR

An associate degree and seven years of the required experience as described above.

OR

A bachelor’s degree and five years of the required experience as described above.

OR

A master’s degree and four years of the required experience as described above.

Additional Comments Hours of the position will be discussed at the time of interview, including questions regarding Flextime, AWS/Compressed work week and Telecommuting.
