Minimum Qualifications: The selected candidate must pass a keyboarding test that demonstrates the ability to enter text at a rate of at least 30 words per minute with at least 96% accuracy. If appointed to the Traineeship you must successfully complete a set training and development program in order to be advanced to the full performance level of this title. Trainee 1- Six months of experience in administrative support, which includes use of office software (e.g., email, word processing), provision of customer service, business writing, and/or office administration. The Department of Financial Services is seeking candidates for the position of Administrative Assistant 1 in the Property Bureau. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Maintains daily Property Bureau attendance for field staff;
• Performs duties related to Freedom of Information Law requests;
• Performs duties related to Project Sunlight;
• Processes UPS labels for the office staff;
• Schedules meetings and reserves conference rooms for

Additional Comments Positions located within the New York City metropolitan area, as well as Suffolk, Nassau, Rockland, and Westchester Counties, are also eligible to receive an additional $3,400 annual downstate adjustment.
