Duties Description Working under the direction of an Auditor 3, duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Supervise and train Management Specialist 1’s;

• Assist the Auditor 3 in External Audit matters;

• Proactively monitor deadlines for the Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) responses
to external auditors;

• Prepare audit status narratives, including spreadsheets, charts, tables, etc., as assigned;

• Research relevant background information and materials, laws, regulations, policies, and prior audit
reports, etc. to assist in the facilitation of external audits;

• Represent the Internal Audit unit at meetings with Audit and Quality Improvement (A&QI) management
and attend meetings within the unit;

• Work with the Audit Unit staff to identify areas of risk revealed in external audits that may affect other
OTDA operations;

• Arrange and facilitate meetings between external auditors and OTDA program areas;

• Facilitate the secure exchange of audit documents between external auditors and OTDA program
areas;

• Arrange and participate in entrance and exit conferences and interviews;

• Prepare and organize Audit Unit work papers;

• Provide relevant comments to the Internal Audit staff on audit matters;

• Perform full range of supervisory duties including mentoring and training, and

• Update unit procedures as needed.

Additional Comments A full-time, permanent appointment will be made. If certified by Civil Service, mandatory reemployment list
candidates must be considered first for appointment to this title. This position requires travel at less than 10%.
