We are currently recruiting for a Risk Analyst as part of an exciting Project Controls Team within the Construction Directorate.

As a Risk Analyst you will be responsible for delivering on Key Risk Management activities which enable the management and delivery of our innovative Offshore Hybrid Asset projects including Lionlink and Nautilus and our Capital Delivery projects.

Your role will be pivotal in ensuring proactive identification and management of key risks, to support the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to scope.

This role is based from Warwick and you can enjoy our hybrid working from office and home. You'll be flexible travelling to offices and project sites as required as some of our projects are based in Sellindge, Kent

Key Accountabilities

  • Risk Identification: Proactively identify and assess potential project risks through workshops and team discussions.

  • Risk Analysis: Conduct risk analysis using Monte Carlo simulation and reference class forecasting.

  • Mitigation Planning: Develop and recommend strategies to minimize risk impact and integrate them into project plans.

  • Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor risks and prepare comprehensive reports and dashboards using Power BI.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with project teams and stakeholders to promote risk awareness.

  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to organisational risk management policies and best practices.

  • Training: Provide training and mentorship on risk management principles and tools to project teams

About you

  • Thorough understanding of project risk management principles, frameworks, and methodologies.

  • Proven experience in project risk management within a Project Controls environment on major infrastructure projects.

  • In-depth understanding of the risk management role within the project structure.

  • Proficiency in conducting bottom-up quantitative risk analysis (Cost and Schedule) using Monte Carlo simulation and top-down techniques like reference class forecasting.

  • Experience in project risk management software (e.g., Primavera, Palisade).

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to inform data-driven project decisions.

  • Proficiency in Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

  • Experience supporting and collaborating with project teams, stakeholders, and senior management.

What you'll get

A competitive salary between £46,000 - £55,000 – dependent on capability.

As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
