About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Colleague Listening and Engagement specialist to join our Colleague Communications and Engagement team on a full time, permanent basis.


You will be supporting the Colleague Listening and Engagement Manager with our portfolio of engagement, onboarding, exit, culture and ad-hoc surveys. This involves working closely with our external survey providers to administrate our surveys, analysing and reviewing the survey results, and setting up leaders for success so they can take meaningful action based on their results.

This is a varied and interesting role and you will have the opportunity to interact with colleagues from across the organisation.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Colleague Listening and Engagement Manager with the delivery of our engagement, onboarding, exit and culture surveys
  • Engage regularly with our survey providers
  • Manage our shared mailbox
  • Support colleagues and survey champions with their survey related queries
  • Be the project lead on the implementation of any new colleague experience surveys
  • Support with the analysis of survey results to see what improvements and recommendations can be made
  • Support with the review of our induction presentation, and implement any changes

About You

  • A high level of self-motivation
  • Experience in either a colleague listening, communications or HR based role
  • Influencing and communication skills to build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation and with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Experience of managing projects from initiation to implementation and review
  • Adaptability and the ability to prioritise your work
  • Demonstrable experience in managing internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  • A good working knowledge of Excel is beneficial but not essential

More Information

This role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis


We are also offering hybrid working in which we envisage you will spend on average 2 days a week at a National Grid office - with the remainder from home. There will be some travel required in this role.
