Job Purpose

The Outdoor Lighting and Third-Party Attachments team is seeking a NJUNS (National Joint Utilities Notification System) Sr. Account Manager to manage Doble Pole activities in Massachusetts.

Key Accountabilities

  • Build strong strategic relationships with key stakeholders including Municipalities, CATV & Wireless Providers, Operations, Distribution Design, to deliver high impact and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting on progress of Double Pole remediation initiatives including milestone achievements and KPI delivery.
  • Work with National Grid’s Inspection Program and Work Support to identify to identify gaps in the NJUNS double pole reporting.
  • Advocate for the “voice of the customer” and mitigate municipal double pole issues, prompting Next to Go transfers and remediation of unregistered NJUN’s participants.
  • Administer regular outdoor lighting and pole audits to identify unauthorized attachers and improve GIS inventory.
  • Identify and implement enhancements to existing policies, processes and systems to improve efficiency and performance related to all aspects of double pole efforts.

  • Ability to communicate to stakeholders at all levels in the organization.
  • Capable of working easily within a team
  • Strong communication skills, written and interpersonal communications skills and supportive of external and internal customers.
  • Collaborative and inclusive of people of diverse backgrounds and geographic locations
  • Positive attitude, high energy
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and report to office locations across MA territory.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant experience, and 7+ years of work experience.
  • Knowledge of NJUNS system including navigation of the site, creation, troubleshooting, and closing tickets in the site
  • Required intermediate MS Suite skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Desired knowledge of GIS, STORMS and Smartsheet, BI Reporting.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry practice, standards and best practices.
  • Experience with distribution engineering design, specifically joint use engineering for utility pole communication attachments.
  • Knowledge of current trends within the industry of Broadband and 5G expansion.
  • Knowledge of standards, procedures and safety practices related in the fields of work.
  • Valid/Good Standing Driver's License.

MA Salary range:

$107,000 - $126,000 a year
