What You'll Do
Our Customer Enablement Products (Sustainability & Innovation) team is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our Sustainability Hub. The primary goal of the Sustainability Hub is to elevate the conversation and bring community awareness about the importance of reducing emissions, promoting renewable energy, and identifying energy efficient solutions for residents and commercial businesses alike.
As an intern for this team you will participate in several trainings initiatives circling around sustainability and company initiatives in order to relay information to both our customers and Hub visitors throughout. In this role, you will not only help to educate customers and visitors in using technologies such as electronic thermostats or energy star appliances but also work to develop several presentations informing those of the emerging energy technologies to both our stakeholders and consumers. During your time with us, you will also help to support with conducting Sustainability Hub tours and ensuring our social, web and company intranet is current with creative and engaging content circling around sustainability.
Qualified candidates will be expected to work 20 hours per week. This role is based in our Worcester, MA office in a hybrid work structure. Please note that you must be located within a commutable distance to our Worcester office.
What You'll Need
- Availability to start on program start date, September 30, 2024
- Must be registered in school as a full-time student and continuing education full-time for the Spring 2026 Semester
- Pursuing a Bachelors, or Master's degree in Environmental science related disciplines, Sustainability, Business related disciplines (Marketing, Communications, etc.) or Policy
- Accumulated 18 or more credits and be at least 18 years of age
- Work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States
- Located within a commutable distance to our Worcester, MA office

Salary
$21.00 - $26.00 an hour (Undergraduate Student)
$28.00 - $32.00 an hour (Graduate Student)
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
