Project Supervisor - Remote with travel - £43,250 to £54,859

You'll act as the client representative across multiple construction sites and ensures that site-based construction activities across Gas Construction are managed efficiently with a focus on the delivery of a safe, technically compliant project whilst having a commercial mindset to challenge and manage project costs against the agreed contract.

You'll drive value by ensuring that Contractors’ construction activities align with policy and contractual requirements. Some of your accountabilities would include ensuring the Principal Contractor is pro-actively discharging their duties, reviewing risk assessments and method statements, and undertaking safety walks. You would also chair site progress meetings with our contractors.

You will need to have good understanding of CDM Regulations and Safety & Environmental legislation, practices and policies. Having basic project management skills and previous experience of project site management is important.

You'll ideally have a NEBOSH/IOSH certificate, be familiar with NEC contracts and project supervisor duties as defined within NEC and hold a EUSR card or similar. It would also be beneficial if you have management experience of multidisciplinary construction works on site and have previously managed construction contractors.

Projects you will be involved in will range from single asset replacements to full Above Ground Installation (AGI) site replacements and would suit someone with a Mechanical/Civil background.

Location is flexible anywhere in the UK as we have projects across the entire UK National Gas Transmission network.

Construction works can be anywhere across the network so you must be willing to travel to and stay (when required) at these construction sites. You will be required to spend time away from home to ensure the works are being executed safely and to their contractual obligations. A full UK driving license is essential for the role.
