Description

The EOED Summer internship program will run from approximately June 2, 2025, through August 2025. Interviews will be held virtually/in person. Salary is compensable with work experience and education level. The hourly rate will range from $21/hour.

Program Overview:

EOED’s Summer 2025 Legal Internship Program provides law students with hands-on experience in public service. Interns will engage in meaningful legal work within EOED's Office of General Counsel and OCABR agencies, including:

What You’ll Do: As a legal intern, you’ll:

  • Work on real-world legal assignments, gaining valuable on-the-job training.
  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, letters, and reports.
  • Assist with administrative hearings, board meetings, and document reviews.
  • Collaborate with experienced legal professionals to develop technical knowledge.
  • Build professional relationships and contribute to meaningful projects.

Qualifications:

  • Law students preferred
  • Strong research, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must have legal work authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Commitment to a hybrid schedule, with 4-5 days of availability per week.
