About the role
Delivery of the Facilities team services to operate and maintain the Australia Post portfolio, including any designated financial, technical, maintenance, procurement, asset and vendor management programs, and to provide facilities administration duties in accordance with company policies, procedures and processes.
The Facilities Manager will be looking after a tier 1 industrial site and responsible for ensuring team achievement of Facilities Services KPIs as well as identifying and implementing strategies to mitigate risk associated with the Australia Post account.

Key Responsibilities:
Drive the property risk management program covering health and safety, security, fire safety, essential services, and environmental risks.
Ensure statutory compliance of buildings/assets and maintain a compliance register for all applicable laws including disability access.
Implement disaster recovery and business continuity planning across the portfolio in conjunction with HSSE Risk & Compliance Manager.
Establish incident escalation procedures and ensure they are followed, including timely reporting to Australia Post management.
Conduct regular building inspections and complete reports within governance timeframes.
Proactively manage vendor relationships and coordinate facilities work with JLL Projects & Development Services.
Monitor Help Desk performance against agreed KPIs and service level targets, reporting regularly to stakeholders.
Develop cost-saving initiatives and service improvement strategies to enhance profitability.
Review financial reports with the Finance team, including variance analysis and budget preparation.
Foster teamwork and leadership excellence while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels across the portfolio.
What we are looking for:
Equivalent professional experience in a comparable role will be favorably considered.
Demonstrated 5-10 years of professional experience within corporate real estate or industrial facilities management sectors.
Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in interpreting numerical data and translating findings into concise, well-structured reports with meticulous attention to detail.
Advanced competency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Comprehensive understanding that the Facilities Management role encompasses both responsive maintenance services and scheduled preventative maintenance programs across the designated portfolio, with potential 24-hour availability requirements.
Valid driver's license is mandatory due to the necessity of site visitations throughout the assigned portfolio.
