About the role:
Based on one of our large technology client’s site, The Lobby Host Supervisor will assist the Workplace Manager with operational activities in front of house, accounting and finance, maintenance and operations, vendor oversight, purchasing of material, equipment & supplies, occupancy services and helpdesk.
The Lobby Host Supervisor is also required to provide administrative support to the team when required. This a dynamic role and no two days are the same. This is not a typical front of house role, you will be actively engaging with stakeholders, assisting in events and providing a strong front of house service to all staff and clients.
Responsibilities include:
Customer service excellence - greeting clients, managing visitor experience
Front desk management responsibilities - calls, access badges, visitor management
Meeting room coordination and facilities support
Stakeholder relationship management across multiple levels
Safety and security protocol management
Supervising and ensuring quality control, focusing on service excellence and client satisfaction
Facilitating room set up, managing calendar invites & the delivery of catering and event equipment
Manage hardware assets as they arrive and keep track of the records whilst working alongside IT
Purchase building goods and services subject to Client Purchasing requirements/ contracts and goals for cost reduction
Proactively seek to improve the systems and processes of all operations in response to changes in the marketplace
About You:
Passionate about service excellence with ability to interact professionally with diverse set of people
Clear verbal and written communication, good presentation and the ability to engage effectively with visitors and staff
Excellent planning skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a front desk environment
Ability to handle changing situations, remain calm under pressure, and find solutions to unexpected challenges
Works effectively with colleagues to achieve goals and maintain seamless front-of-house operations
Demonstrates trustworthiness, reliability and accountability in representing the organisation to visitors and clients
