Staff Residential Property Assistant

About the Role

As a Staff Residential Property (SRP) Assistant at JLL, you'll play a pivotal role in managing residential properties for our prestigious clients. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to own the complete residential property cycle – from identification and application to move-in and move-out processes, ensuring exceptional service quality throughout.

You'll be the trusted liaison between landlords, facilities management teams, and supply partners while ensuring all properties meet strict standards and regulatory requirements. This role combines property management expertise with outstanding customer service to create seamless residential experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Property Management & Preparation

  • Prepare residential properties to ensure they're ready for occupancy within contractual deadlines
  • Develop expertise in evaluating leases, diagnostics, invoices, CPI indices, and health & safety documentation
  • Create and maintain comprehensive property inventories with detailed evidence (photos, documentation).

Move Coordination & Administration

  • Oversee all move-in and move-out activities, managing the complete administrative process
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and internal technical teams to complete required works
  • Schedule appointments between subcontractors and occupants efficiently.

Client & Occupant Relations

  • Serve as the single point of contact for assigned properties, providing end-to-end support
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with landlords, managing agencies, and occupants
  • Monitor and control all residential property work, ensuring strict adherence to KPIs and SLAs.

Health & Safety Excellence

  • Proactively implement and monitor robust safety systems that adhere to all HSE legislation
  • Ensure compliance with JLL Safety Standards and achieve reporting targets
  • Foster a continuous improvement culture around safety practices.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Develop productive working relationships with client staff and representatives
  • Collaborate closely with the SRP Manager, Facilities Manager, and client teams
  • Participate actively in regular forums and meetings on estates and facilities matters.

  • Experience in property management or facilities services
  • Strong communication skills and relationship-building abilities
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to residential properties
  • Problem-solving aptitude with a proactive approach to challenges
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
