JLL is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Governance and Quality Business Partner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing our data governance strategies, with a particular focus on Data Quality, Data Security and enabling our business to adopt Enterprise Data Governance frameworks. This is a business and data analyst role that requires the ability to quickly understand and explore various data models, evaluate, and document business processes, and communicate findings and recommendations with leadership. This role will also be responsible for providing detailed analysis and recommendations for data governance program enhancements to JLLT teams that support the business communities. This position will report to the Director of Enterprise Data Governance of the CDO’s organization in JLLT.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Collaborate with business units to ensure data governance policies and standards are understood and adhered to by the business

  • Establish robust data security measures for business-related data, (e.g. Data Access Protocol (DAP) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) implementation)

  • Design and develop a comprehensive Data Quality onboarding framework, including collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of the framework

  • Actively participate in Service Line data ownership meetings and activities

  • Lead the implementation and optimization of Data Standards within a given business line, providing recommendations to define standards and document them within the existing landscape (e.g. Collibra).

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization

  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote data governance best practices

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data governance and quality management

  • Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance data governance processes

  • Contribute to the development of the organization's data strategy

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of professional business experience with a track record of accomplishments in data related fields, such as Enterprise Data Governance, Business Intelligence, Data Quality, or Data Management.

  • Strong knowledge of data governance tools, particularly Collibra and Alation

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders

  • Experience in developing and implementing data governance policies and frameworks

  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements

  • Working collaboratively in a dynamic, ambiguous environment with multiple competing priorities which requires self-motivation, discipline, organization, and attention to detail.

  • Strong project management and coordination skills with proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and manage multiple projects.

  • Understanding of Commercial Real Estate and Property Management industry (e.g., the business).

  • Experience in dealing with internal and external customers, service providers and vendors. Must be able to manage competing priorities. Needs to be resilient; resolving conflicts quickly to achieve desired business results.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Certifications in data governance or data management (e.g., CDMP, DGQP)

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

  • Knowledge of SQL and data modeling concepts

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies
