The Engineering Services Manager's role is to undertake and develop the following activities:

  • To Manage and ensure the Compliant delivery of all Engineering services in line with JLL’s Statement of work and delivery methods.
  • To Manage and ensure Playbook and OCP compliant delivery and reporting
  • To manage all aspects of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance, Project Works and Help Desk Calls in accordance with both client and JLL requirements..
  • Ensure HSE and contractual compliance.
  • To ensure contractual compliance with all engineering delivery. To be responsible technical delivery and governance of the contract requirements and organisation of the site team in order to meet the contractual agreement.
  • Monitor and ensure all training requirements of the engineering personnel are kept up to date and compliant.
  • Oversight of all contract activities, both maintenance and projects and ensure all safety aspects are managed and monitored in accordance with site procedures and requirements.
  • Preparation of budget documentation as required for client approvals.
  • Staff supervision including all full-time, part-time, matrix reports, sub-contractors and specialist providers.
  • Be proactive and provide technical guidance in relation to preventative maintenance and extra works delivery.
  • Comply with all procedures and maintain clear & legible records as required.
  • Be available to manage emergency out of hour escalations and provide written incident reports as required.
  • Manage and Co-ordinate office support staff providing information as required for Compliance reporting and operations.
  • Review and sign off detailed planning of the IST Testing activities.
  • Follow up in respect of the defects found, remediation and revalidation.
  • Collation of evidence that these defects are corrected.
  • Playbook Procedures implemented and validated as required.
  • Battery and Capacitor tracker updates to ensure these are replaced before they cause critical failures.
  • Annual Plant Condition Assessment
  • Critical Spares Inventory
  • PPM Plan against statutory maintenance sheets. CMMS review of maintenance plan and delivery.
  • Oversight of Change Requests – Required for all works on services which may impact critical works.
  • Fire Systems testing and recording.
  • Close all actions assigned from audits and assurance visits, gap plan produced and tracked.
  • Monthly Critical Environment reporting for the site.
  • Personnel management of direct reports and oversight of indirect report management as required.
  • Participate in succession planning, development requirements and training as assigned by Engineering Management

Requirements / Skills

  • Trade Qualified in Engineering discipline or university degree.
  • Multilingual – Local Language with Fluent English both Written and spoken

  • Risk Management – effectively manages risks and ensures that the interests of the business, others and self are protected.
  • Customer Awareness – effectively manages relationships in the supply chain, responsive to the needs of the customer, aims to deliver customer satisfaction.
  • Health, Safety Environmental – effectively manages HSE aspects within the business, ensuring compliance and welfare of team members.
  • Desirable: Authorised Person (High Voltage / Mechanical Systems / Confined Space)

  • Desirable: Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or recognised equivalent
