What this job involves:
As a Director of Business Development, your primary responsibility is to identify leads and generate pipeline in the form of net-new and expansion business opportunities for our Technology sales teams. To thrive in this role, you have a demonstrated ability to generate a significant opportunity pipeline at multinational corporations, you’re adept at navigating complex organizational structures and markets, and you thrive when client-facing (on and offline). You’re motivated by the hunt and you can think strategically to drive both net-new and expansion business.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Generate pipeline for net-new and expansion opportunities
- Secure meetings with C-suite executives and senior leaders
- Facilitate introductory calls to identify CRE Technology stack opportunities
- Create client engagement plans and account maps
- Prepare detailed briefs on target prospects
- Launch outbound prospecting campaigns
Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:
- Experience generating enterprise-level opportunities for technology software products and services, Opportunities within the IWMS, CMMS, EAM and IT outsourcing space is an added advantage
- Network within Facilities Management, Portfolio Services, Workplace Management, or CRE technology
- Experience selling in one or more of the following industries: Financial Services, Industrials, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, or Technology industries
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration skills to generate new ways of identifying white space within your territory
- Proven ability to qualify prospects and nurture relationships
- Ability to create compelling story and presentation utilising client case studies
- Excellent Salesforce CRM skills
