Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Facilities Executive to support the operations and maintenance of our facilities and buildings in Sri Lanka. This role will work closely with the Facilities Manager and Assistant Facilities Manager to ensure smooth facility operations, implement maintenance programs, manage vendor relationships, and maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the development and implementation of comprehensive maintenance programs for building systems and equipment. Assist in implementing preventive maintenance programs with minimal disruption to building operations. Maintain Continuous Follow ups with vendors and execute all preventive and corrective maintenance on time while ensuring the activities are aligned with internal standards. Escalate issues in all critical systems including UPS system, generators, electrical systems, fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance management) system for tracking work orders and make sure all work will be planned and completed as the system data without any deviation. Manage safety standards in all sites while communicating all hazards timely and recording safety practices & incidents in relevant systems Maintain proper asset list and update all changes in relevant platforms ensuring accurate asset management. Assist in planning and executing Annual Shutdowns (ASD) and Integrated System Test (IST). Respond to emergency breakdowns and collaborate with vendors to minimize system downtime. Contribute to improving soft facilities management operations. Participate in sustainability initiatives aimed at cost reduction. Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum one year of experience in facility management, preferably in a similar industry
Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Proficiency in health and safety compliance
Strong computer literacy, including familiarity with facility management software and Microsoft Office suite
