Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists in daily operation of building and employee services specifically focusing on correcting building facilities defects.
- Investigates and troubleshoots problems, conducts repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Performs preventive maintenance on various mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Performs basic tasks including minor electrical repairs, painting and filling crevices, installation of light fittings, carpentry (e.g. building of cabinets) installing/assembling/shifting furniture or equipment, installation of other appliances as requested.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Inspect mechanical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
- Identify and advise others on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous or cause system damage.
- Use a variety of tools and equipment including measuring devices and testing equipment.
- Perform business management duties such as maintaining records and files, preparing reports and ordering supplies and equipment.
- Responsible for the safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials related to own work activities.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
- Working with wider JLL, vendor and client teams to ensure consistent delivery of services.
- Supervision and oversight of vendor teams and engineers as required.
- Minor mechanical inspection, maintenance, repairs, and installation for general building repairs.
- Performs minor building maintenance as needed.
- Administer and Schedule Work.
- Monitors inventory and initiates requests for supplies, materials, and equipment and procures such as instructed.
- Schedules and coordinates own work in line with managers expectancies.
- Any other reasonable task requested that is within scope or capability.
Experience
- Experience in Health and Safety and use of Risk Assessing, Method Statements, permits to work etc.
- 2 years’ experience in HVAC, facilities, property management, hard services.
- Experience using CAFM or similar an advantage; desirable but not essential.
- Experience using CAD an advantage; desirable but not essential.
- Skilled in use of electrical and handheld diagnostic equipment, hand tools, power tools and specialised tools required to execute the position responsibilities.
- Competency in basic mathematic skills, fractions, addition, subtraction and division.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid driver’s licence.
- Tertiary qualification in Electrics. - Valid Israeli license 3x80 amp.
- Recognised EH&S qualification desirable but not essential.
