Head of Corporate Functions, Finance

JLL seeks a strategic financial leader to oversee the financial performance and strategy of all corporate functions including technology, occupancy, marketing, research, finance, HR, legal among others. This pivotal role drives efficiency, revenue growth, and transparency across the organization, partnering with corporate function leaders and finance teams globally. The position is critical in aligning financial strategies with JLL's overall corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies for corporate functions
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals

Strategic Alignment:

  • Drive transparency, alignment, and governance of spend between corporate and business segments
  • Collaborate with finance and business leaders to prioritize investments
  • Improve allocation methodologies and investment decision-making

Financial Performance Management:

  • Oversee planning, performance benchmarking, and strategic analytics
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying improvement areas
  • Partner with corporate function leaders to drive efficiency and revenue growth
  • Deliver data-driven insights to enhance return on investment
  • Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders including business and finance leaders across corporate function and business segment
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Oversee the production and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and year-end consolidated reporting packages and supporting schedules for senior leadership
  • Review and consolidate monthly P&L variance commentary to provide enhanced management reporting that includes meaningful and actionable insights
  • Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to measure progress of Company against stated short-term and long-term goals
  • Partner with Global Controllership and FinOps teams on deliverables and projects related to financial systems and reporting platforms

Leadership:

  • Build and maintain a strong team of financial professionals with needed capabilities to create value for the business and meet the business needs
  • Act as the "face" of finance to the leadership team
  • Establish a high performing culture within Finance
  • Identify, simplify and implement process re-engineering opportunities through automation, standardization, and innovation

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field; MBA preferred
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive accounting, analysis, and operating experience
  • At least 5 years in a Senior Director-level finance position or equivalent
  • Proven experience in strategic financial management within a large firm
  • Expertise in financial modeling and process development,
  • Strong command of U.S. GAAP accounting principles
  • Expertise in financial modeling, process development, and team building

Estimated total compensation for this position:

348,000.00 – 420,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
