1.- Responsibilities:

- Development of the BEP during the DD phase of the project

- Oversees BIM Model development

- Manage BIM workflows and project coordination between GC, vendors, etc

- Ensure the integrity of project models and data

- Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders (architects, engineers, contractors)

- Ensures the BEP is adhered to

- Understands and reports construction schedules, workflows, and revisions metrics.

- Ensures a coordinated hand-off to the BIM Manager

2. Identify Required Skills and Experience

- Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in BIM/VDC software (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, ACC)

- Familiarity with 2D through 10D modeling, clash detection, and construction simulations

- Knowledge of construction project management tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Scanning)

- Understanding of design and construction processes

- Familiarity with IWMS data collection

- Experience:

- Minimum of 5+ years in a related role (BIM Manager, VDC Specialist, etc.)

- Experience in managing large-scale construction projects

- Leadership experience in coordinating across multiple disciplines

3. Soft Skills and Qualities

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Problem-solving and analytical thinking

- Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams

- Project management and organizational skills

4. Education and Certifications

- A degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields

- Certifications in BIM or VDC (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional)

- Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma)
