We are currently seeking an Environmental Specialist to join our Project and Development Services (PDS) team on a Work Dynamics Financial Services account. Our team’s priorities are:

What the job involves:
As an Environmental Specialist at JLL, you will closely with project managers and clients to identify, assess, and mitigate environmental risks associated with our diverse portfolio of projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring environmental and client compliance. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee environmental testing, evaluate reports to identify potential risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
Your role will require you to stay current with evolving environmental regulations and industry best practices. You'll be expected to communicate complex environmental findings clearly to both internal teams and clients, providing expert advice and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

As an Environmental Specialist at JLL, you will:
- Facilitate effective communication between team members, project stakeholders and vendors, ensuring all parties are informed of project updates and changes.
- Coordinate and oversee environmental testing procedures
- Interpret test results and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders
- Analyze environmental reports and data to identify potential hazards
- Develop and recommend effective mitigation strategies to minimize environmental impacts
- Provide expert advice on environmental matters to project teams and clients
- Work closely with Project Managers to integrate environmental considerations into project planning and execution
- Provide technical support and guidance on environmental issues throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop and maintain a database of environmental data and best practices
- Identify opportunities for improving environmental performance across projects
- Suggest and implement innovative environmental management techniques
- Conduct environmental awareness training for project teams and staff
Education, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering, or related field
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in environmental consulting or related experience
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations, principles, and best practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent customer service and presentation abilities.
- Ability to think and work independently, demonstrate initiative, and collaborate effectively with multiple individuals on various projects to meet assigned deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Teams and Zoom.
- Interest in the commercial real estate industry, property management, and gaining broad experience in various aspects of Commercial Real Estate.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and creative mindset, with a proactive and self-motivated attitude that seeks help when needed.
