Role Purpose:

The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing facility operations across Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, and Czech Republic. This role ensures that associated vendors are managed in line with the IFM vendor management process, adhering to contracts, measurable Key Performance Indicators, and Service Level Agreements. The Facilities Manager supports and directs the client-facing team on-site while maintaining regional oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with Client FM Leads to deliver operational facilities-related client KPIs as identified in the Property Management Agreement (PMA) and other client-agreed initiatives across the four countries.

• Serve as the principal point of contact for occupiers, providing advice and guidance on the day-to-day physical operation of buildings in Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, and Czech Republic.

• Ensure full compliance with Environmental Health and Safety regulations across all managed facilities in the region.

• Maintain consistent service delivery and management across the portfolio of sites in all four countries.

• Establish and nurture relationships with client Site Leads, Area and Regional FM managers, and business partners (e.g., EHS leads, IT) to build trust and credibility in IFM service delivery.

• Resolve Soft services FM and Workplace issues across the region, escalating when necessary.

• Manage, develop, and enhance the skills of assigned staff to improve service delivery and drive opportunities for self-performance.

• Drive performance as measured by client's Key Performance Indicators across all managed facilities.

• Oversee subcontractors and suppliers to ensure delivery of goods and services against contracts and expectations in each country.

• Monitor and improve client satisfaction with Facility Management services across the region.

• Conduct gap analyses of full site PPM schedules against site assets or existing schedules for all managed properties.

• Provide oversight and support for Soft Services operations managed by JLL in Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, and Czech Republic.

• Develop and implement sustainable and cost-effective solutions for clients across the region.

• Engage and collaborate with the EMEA peer group to build consistency in solutions and processes across all services delivered.

• Support the EMEA Procurement Lead on procurement projects, savings documentation, contract compliance, and sustainability initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with local Health and Safety regulations in all four countries.

• Perform other tasks and duties as required to support regional facility management operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, or related field.

• Proven experience in facility management, preferably in a multi-site, multi-country environment.

• Fluency in English and at least one of the languages of the managed countries (Hungarian, Romanian, Slovak, or Czech.)

• Strong knowledge of facility management practices, vendor management, and contract administration.

• Experience with sustainability initiatives and cost optimization in facility management.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with CAFM systems.

• Willingness to travel within the region as needed.

This role is responsible for overseeing Facilities Management operations in Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, and Czech Republic, requiring a strategic approach to regional facility management and strong cross-cultural communication skills.
