Launch your career in maintenance and engineering at JLL!

This role supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. The Helper will work under supervision and focus on working safely.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Assist the Chief Engineer in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment

· Assist with general maintenance including but not limited to: carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and painting

· Complete assigned work orders and maintain appropriate service documentation

· Maintain tools, parts, equipment and supplies in clean and safe conditions

· Work closely under the direction of Chief Engineer

· Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs

· Support on-call or emergency response situations

· Maintain compliance to State, County, and/or City ordinances, codes, and laws

· Other projects and tasks to be assigned

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

· This is a IUOE Local 99 union position. Union membership is required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

· Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written

· Ability to comply with JLL and client-directed policies and procedures

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

· Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall

· Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift, stoop, and work/extend overhead

· Strong customer service skills

· Basic computer skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· High school diploma or GED equivalent

· Completion of an applicable technical training program, desirable

· Minimum one year of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing and electrical - desirable

Please note: Candidate will be provided with tools required to perform assigned work scope.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

57,366.00 – 57,366.40 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
