Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing and Cost Optimization:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sourcing plan for the region

  • Lead cost optimization initiatives across all procurement categories

  • Identify and implement innovative sourcing strategies to drive value

  • Meet and exceed savings targets

Data Governance and Analytics:

  • Establish and maintain robust data governance in procurement processes

  • Oversee Jaggaer system operations, ensuring timely contract renewals, COI updates, and accurate and complete data entry

  • Leverage data analytics to inform decision-making and drive performance improvements

  • Coordinate with Country Procurement and maintain pipeline of preferred, strategic and alliance vendors

Training and Development:

  • Design and conduct procurement training programs to effectively cascade procurement processes to the operations team, ensuring compliance with established procedures

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the procurement function

Regional Coordination

  • Coordinate with country teams on sourcing activities to ensure alignment with sourcing strategies

  • Harmonize procurement practices across the region while respecting local nuances

  • Maintain and leverage a network within JLL Country Procurement teams to share and implement best practices

Procurement Controls and Compliance

  • Implement and maintain effective procurement controls

  • Ensure compliance with JLL, Client, and local regulatory requirements

  • Participate in the Supplier Audit preparations and responses

Vendor Management

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key vendors

  • Actively support and contribute to vendor management programs, including performance evaluation and relationship management

  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of vendor lifecycle management processes

  • Participate in vendor relationship management activities

  • Support the continuous improvement of vendor management practices

ESG Initiatives

  • Execute the ESG actions identified in the ESG report within the procurement functions

  • Support the Ops Team in achieving Green Procurement compliance

Procurement Innovation and Technology

  • Drive the adoption and optimization of procurement systems

  • Lead initiatives to identify and implement ways to automate procurement processes, improving efficiency and reducing manual work

  • Explore and integrate AI technologies into procurement functions, such as predictive analytics for demand forecasting, supplier selection, and risk management

  • Collaborate with Data PMO and Engine Room to develop and implement innovative digital solutions that enhance procurement capabilities

  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices in procurement automation and AI applications

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Support MFSA Deliverables by ensuring accurate and timely data collection and submission

  • Analyze benchmarking reports to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities

  • Ensure accurate and timely data provision to support VMP (Vendor Management Program) KPIs

Other Responsibilities

  • Assist in the transition of new vendors to ensure compliance

  • Support on supplier performance and issue resolution

  • Update the Procurement section of the VMP Playbook

  • Proactively promote and comply with Client and JLL’s workplace safety policies, procedures and safety guidelines, and local legislative OH&S and ISO requirements

  • Perform other duties assigned as VMP evolves/aligns with Client objectives

Performance objectives

  • Deliver on annual sourcing plan and cost savings targets

  • Achieve and maintain high levels of data quality and governance in procurement processes

  • Compliance with JLL and client audit, regulatory/statutory compliance, ethics requirements, and vendor ethics programs

  • Successfully implement procurement controls and pass audits

  • Improve team capabilities through effective training programs

  • Meet or exceed VMP KPI (>4)

  • Drive ESG performance improvements in the supply chain

  • Meet the Diverse Spend target

Employee specification

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field

  • 10+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role

  • Experience in facilities management or indirect category management

  • Proven track record in delivering cost savings and process improvements

  • Strong understanding of ESG principles and their application in procurement

  • Experience with e-procurement systems (Jaggaer preferred)

  • Knowledge of procurement practices in the Pacific region is highly desirable

  • Knowledge of AI applications in procurement and experience with procurement automation processes

  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and their potential applications in improving procurement efficiency and effectiveness
