We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to join our Capital Markets team based in Canberra. The successful candidate will partner closely with our Managing Director, ACT and play a crucial role in supporting our team's efforts to provide innovative financial solutions and strategic advice to our clients in the commercial real estate sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth market research and financial analysis to support investment decisions and client recommendations
Prepare comprehensive financial models, valuations, and cash flow projections for various real estate assets and portfolios
Assist in the preparation of offering memoranda, pitch books, and client presentations
Collaborate with senior team members on deal execution, including due diligence, transaction structuring, and negotiations
Monitor and analyse market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments
Support the team in business development activities and client relationship management
Contribute to the development of internal reports and market insights
Assist in the preparation of investment committee materials and other internal documentation
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Real estate licence.
Relevant experience in real estate, finance or investment banking.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Familiarity with real estate financial concepts and market dynamics.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
