Lease, Acquisitions & Transactions Analyst
What this job involves:
This position supports the Integrated Portfolio Services team in strategizing, evaluating, and executing real estate transactions for clients. The analyst will work on acquisitions and dispositions for both leased and owned properties globally, handle portfolio analysis, and manage reporting requirements. They will also contribute to continuous improvement of tools, templates, and technology platforms used to service clients.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Preparing detailed financial analyses, including NPV cash flows and portfolio opportunity mining
Evaluating client building alternatives and lease options through qualitative and quantitative analysis
Gathering and evaluating global real estate market and property data
Preparing detailed approval documents for client submission
Assisting in the preparation of reports, presentations, and analyses
Working directly with clients and team members to resolve issues
Reviewing lease documents and running key lease criteria reviews
Managing all client reporting, including quarterly and annual reports
Desired experience and technical skills:
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, entrepreneurship, economics, or related field with a strong GPA
5-7 years of relevant experience
Strong analytical abilities, both financial and qualitative
Advanced Excel skills, including VBA (macros) and complex formulas
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Well-developed verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, CoStar, Prezi, and mapping software
Preferred:
LEED certification
Real estate brokerage or salesperson's license
Experience with SharePoint and company-specific database programs
Understanding of real estate and lease terminology
Experience in developing complex financial models and scenario analyses
Familiarity with various property types (e.g., data centers, lab space, office space, warehouses)
Knowledge of different transaction types (e.g., leasehold acquisitions, freehold dispositions, portfolio acquisitions)
Estimated total compensation for this position:
90,080.00 – 112,600.00 USD per yearThe total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
