Social Media Manager

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Social Media Manager to join our team and focus on Content & Creative. As the Social Content Manager you will play a critical role in developing and executing the content strategy across various social media channels supporting our brand. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and create engaging and impactful content that aligns with our brand identity, supports our marketing objectives, and resonates with our target audience while ensuring we have the right type of content for each channel.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Social Editorial calendar in SmartSheet and the social content planning process globally
    • Develop key narratives 1-3 months in advance, in coordination with Global Content leads, and populate suggested and final content aligned to the weekly narrative plans
    • Review/approve submissions through Workfront
    • Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice and terminology. Route any further brand approvals as necessary.
    • Streamline updated content creation & publishing workflow
    • Maintain record of content performance for re-use and optimization
  • Central global resource for social content creative templates and strategic guidance
    • Ensure our brand templates for social media are up-to-date, accessible and frequently shared
    • Regularly create and test new content formats aligned to specific networks, regions, or use cases
    • Facilitate creativity and experimentation via brainstorms and recommendations for new ideas and new content pilots, etc.
  • Plan and develop social media components for global brand, employer brand and highest tier Research programs or Events
    • Post content globally and/or socialize with markets for local posting
    • Analyzing data to determine whether social media campaigns have achieved their objectives.
    • Repurpose content as necessary for channel, audience or optimization need
  • Basic social media best practices
    • Use social media marketing tools such as Sprout, Workfront, SmartSheets, BrandWatch, SocialWeaver and SocialLive
    • Stay on top of the latest social media trends
    • Adhere to rules and guidelines. Help maintain social content guidelines.
    • Help drive our SEO through understanding and championing SEO best practices. Implement optimization recommendations.
    • Analyze customer expectations according to past social media activity

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Strategist or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of current social media landscape and B2B best practices across that landscape
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with publishing and analytics tools to track social performance.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality content.
  • Self-motivated, with a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
