Role And Responsibilities of Site Safety Executive

OVERALL ROLE Oversee and manage all aspects of safety and health at the property, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. Develop and implement safety programs, conduct risk assessments, and promote a safety culture among all stakeholders. Work closely with the Workplace Experience Manager to integrate safety considerations into all operational aspects of the facility.

Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs for the facility, covering all soft services and hard services
  • Conduct safety induction for new employees who comes to the facility
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments of the facility, identifying potential hazards and recommending corrective actions.
  • Prepare, issue, and follow up on safety-related purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of safety equipment and materials.
  • Assist the Workplace experience Manager in preparing and updating daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports and resident safety communications.
  • Attend safety meetings and manage safety-related bookings for training sessions or drills.
  • Perform required tasks related to special safety projects as directed by management
  • Manage and update the summary of all safety-related contracts and agreements for the facility
  • Review and verify safety compliance of vendor and supplier invoices before submission for approval.
  • Develop and maintain a safety filing system, ensuring confidentiality and access only per authority schedule.
  • Monitor critical safety dates, scheduled safety inspections, and safety deposit tracking.
  • Coordinate with the Accounts Department regarding payment of safety-related bills and expenses.
  • Manage the safety budget and related petty cash account.
  • Ensure compliance with JLL Management safety regulations and requirements.
  • Assist in implementing safety-related tasks as per the action plan
  • Support the Help Desk with safety-related inquiries as required.
  • Prepare and maintain an up-to-date emergency contact list for vendors, clients, and relevant authorities.
  • Manage safety equipment inventory and record-keeping.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for staff and residents.
  • Investigate accidents, near-misses, and safety incidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending preventive measures.
  • Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies on safety matters.
  • Prepare Daily & Monthly Safety Management Reports.
  • Other safety-related tasks as assigned by the Workplace experience Manager

Knowledgeable and experienced Do you have a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field? Do you possess relevant safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA)? Do you have three to five years of experience in property safety management? Are you proficient in Microsoft Office Software and safety management systems? Professional and efficient An ideal candidate is well-versed in both oral and written communication, with the ability to explain complex safety concepts clearly. You should possess a positive attitude and a proactive approach to safety management. The Site Safety Executive must be able to resolve conflicts effectively while maintaining professionalism. Most importantly, you should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and stay updated with the latest safety technologies and regulations.
